Thank you for joining The Metaphor Society. This is your starting point for exploring the library, joining live meetings and keeping your membership account up to date.
Three ways to begin
Everything below is designed to help you find what you need without having to search around the site.

Browse the library
Choose one subject that interests you from the articles and collections covering metaphor, language, psychology, symbolism, dreams and embodiment. You do not need to work through everything in order.
02 · MEET
Join the next meeting
See the programme of live online meetings and save upcoming dates. Calendar entries do not contain the Zoom link; joining details are issued separately to members.
03 · MANAGE
Keep your account current
Sign in with the account details in your welcome email. If you need help signing in, choose Request Password and follow the instructions in the email you receive.
What your membership includes

Some features vary according to membership level. Practitioner and trainer directory profiles are available only to the relevant membership levels.
Make your first visit useful
Choose an article from Explore, browse The Dream Section, or watch something from the recording archive. Some material requires member sign-in. Afterwards, note one idea you want to return to and one question you would like to ask.
For access to Society material, use Members Login. The Login link beside comments leads to a separate WordPress sign-in screen. If you cannot open material or have not received meeting joining details, contact us with the page address and a brief description of the problem.
Over your first month
First week: explore one article, dream or recording. Over the following weeks: bring a question to a meeting, or join the optional WhatsApp conversation. By the end of the month: revisit something that stayed with you and notice what you see differently.
Practitioner membership is for people who have completed Metaphors of Movement Levels 1 and 2 with an approved trainer and includes a public directory profile. General membership does not include a public profile. Use Manage Membership or contact us for help with your membership type or profile.
